Anita Pal, M. Sc.
I am a clinical fellow within the Ontario Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. I am also a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
My education background includes a Master of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Guelph and an undergraduate degree in Psychology. Training and experience across a number of treatment approaches including narrative, cognitive behavioural, play therapy, attachment based theories, and systems approaches allow me to choose effective treatment models tailored to the needs of my clients. I have worked as a therapist in private practice and in various mental health agencies in the communities of Guelph, Halton Hills and Barrie since 1996. Prior to this I spent four years working as a researcher in the field of children’s mental health.
Finding a therapist that fits you and your family is important and I am pleased to answer any additional questions you may have regarding qualifications, training, liability insurance, fees, or what to expect from therapy.
